Have you ever stood in your bedroom like a stunned zombie, staring at a pile of clothes taller than the Eiffel Tower? Rule number 1
Rule number 1
Before you worry about how your home will turn into a linen-strewn, cutlery cluttered Wo Waldo maze of madness, let’s take a deep breath. Ahhhh. Now let’s start with the first rule. 5 minutes isn’t a long time, is it? To the right. Any tasks in your home that can take less than 5 minutes should be completed immediately and without hesitation. What I mean? Have you just finished with the salt? Put it back in the closet. Just filled the garbage bag? Throw it away and replace it. Most of the tasks won’t take even half a minute, but the result will pay off. Not only will you have a tidy home, but you will also find it easier to keep a tidy home.
Rule number 2
“But what about bigger tasks? How do you wash the dishes? ”If you have tasks that take longer than opening the refrigerator, use the second 5-minute rule. Set a timer for 5 minutes and work until the timer sounds after 5 minutes. Many tasks actually take less than 5 minutes. So don’t be surprised if you’ve only got a minute and a half to stand on the clock with your hands on your hips.

Rule number 2
Control your mind and enjoy a tidy home
Of course there will be chores that will take more than 5 minutes to complete, but there is hope for that too. Once the minutes have passed and you are scrubbing dishes or sweeping the floor, your mind will already be put into action mode. This means that after 5 minutes you will most likely continue what you started as you want to finish the task. How neat is that? So be the ruler of your mind and the ruler of your house – 5 minutes is all you need … and maybe a little more.

Control your mind and enjoy a tidy home
